Maisie joined our team as a part-time veterinary assistant in 2023 while she was still in high school and continues to fill in on her school breaks. She now lives in the Corvallis area and is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Animal Science. As a kid, Maisie started riding in a hunter/jumper program that has given her experience riding all kinds of horses, from ponies to off the track Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods. In 2024, Maisie participated in the Teens & Oregon Mustangs program during which she fell in love with and decided to keep her Mustang mare, Kelpie.

Outside of school and work, Maisie loves to be outside and participates in a wide variety of activities including ultimate frisbee, hiking, and skiing with her friends and family. At home she has a black lab mix named Chinook who loves a good belly scratch, and also some backyard chickens.
