Larkyn joined our team as our office manager in 2024. Larkyn is a life-long Oregonian who grew up in Molalla. . Horses have always been a part of her life and started by riding Arabians in Western Pleasure. At about 14 years old she got her first horse when able to prove to her family that she could take care of one. That is when Klyde, a 19 year old paint gelding entered her life and was with her until he passed away at the age of 26. Larkyn has also given riding lessons.

Today, Larkyn enjoys the occasional trail ride with her husband, Seth, their 2 horses, Mister and Bonnie, on their 18 acres in the Beavercreek/Mulino area. They also have 4 donkeys: Gary, Jolene, Pearl and Lily. Inside they have an American Staffy named Stella, an American Bully/Pocket Pit mix named Pig or Pigsley (Like Pugsley from The Addams family), an GSD/Lab mix named Kato “Potato” and cats, Ella, Emmy and Oliver. 

When not spending time with her horses or doing farm chores, Larkyn can be found inside doing something she absolutely loves reading! She also enjoys occasionally cooking for her big extended family. Especially during the holidays or on a nice weekend.

Fun things to know: Larkyn is a 5th generation horseman/woman, she is mostly a tomboy, but she does love to get her nails done once a month and will always have either seasonal or holiday design nails.  She loves to fish in the ocean but hs a fear of swimming and/or being in a boat on rivers and lakes! But on a boat in the ocean? No problem!

Larkyn is excited to be a part of the wonderful team at Pacific Crest Equine Veterinary Services and looks forward to getting to know each and everyone of our clients and their equine companions, may they be big or small!
