Ciana joined the PCEVS team in 2024. She grew up in Oregon and got her bachelors in zoology at Oregon State University. Ciana has had a passion for horses and riding since she was 4, growing up riding both English and western. Coming from a non-horsey family who wasn't sure what to get, her first horse at age 10 was a 16.2hh saddlebred named Boy who spooked and bucked a lot. He taught her so much and her love of riding and caring for horses only grew from there and she's had horses ever since. Ciana also has a huge love for the long-eared equines, having spent over 10 years working at a local donkey rescue.

These days, Ciana most enjoys competing in mustang training competitions and riding her own two mustangs, Harlequin and Maeve, out on trails. When not at work or the barn, Ciana enjoys sculpting clay, hiking, learning about wildlife, and going on road-trips with friends!
